Annotations |
GZU Inv.-Nr. 246. Holotypus in MSC. This is the first collection of a member of the P. nitida-nitidella complex in North America. The small immersed ascocarps, lacking anthraquinone crystals, and rather large spores (27-33x11-13µm) place it very near P. nitidella v. chlorospila. However, the white maculate thallus (due to small masses of colorless crystalls) is distinctive. |
